Mediterranean Sea Salt is obtained from the evaporation of sea water. It contains natural iodine and other minerals not found in ordinary table salt. Sea salt is used in cooking and various cosmetics. When used in cooking, it gives food a different taste than table salt, which is pure sodium chloride.
